What is affiliation?
Affiliation to di-arezzo means showing off our products on your Web through hyperlinks and a search box, etc.
Web affiliation techniques aim to build up a network of sites that insert hypertext links to ensure visibility and channel targeted traffic through to the "affiliator".
The reward for the traffic thus generated is the payment of a commission.
Why should I become a di-arezzo affiliate?
By becoming a di-arezzo affiliate you also add value to your Web site through relevant content.
A set of tools is made available by di-arezzo to help you keep your content up to date.
You will enable your Web site to become an extra money-maker for you.
How do I become a di-arezzo affiliate?
To sign up for the di-arezzo affiliation scheme, you must comply with certain constraints.

How do I sign up?
It’s quite simple:

- Once you confirm your interest on our Web site, we send you an acknowledgement by e-mail.
What if I have several sites and want all of them to be affiliated?
You have the choice of
- registering each of your Web sites separately, in which case you will have several affiliate accounts.
- registering just one of your Web sites and using this single account for all your sites.
Do I need to be able to write HTML code to succeed?
No: di-arezzo has implemented a set of tools that make it easy for you to put our links directly onto your Web site by simply copying and pasting them.
Does affiliation cost the affiliate anything?
Affiliation is free of charge to all our affiliates.
Who can be come an affiliate?
To become a di-arezzo affiliate you need to comply with certain rules:
- Your Web site must deal with music in general.
- You must have an on-line store. You do not need an electronic payment system because we take care of that matter.
- If your site has a message board it must be moderated to prevent unacceptable language, racist statements, etc.
Does I need a Web site?
Yes, you must have a Web site with its own domain name.
Web sites must have a .com or .fr. Sub domains are accepted.
Only those sites residing on free hosting systems are not accepted. (e.g., free.fr, etc.)
Does an affiliate have to be a company?
Earnings from affiliation are not classed as salaries.
You must therefore set yourself up with a specific legal business and tax status.
We recommend adopting the micro enterprise status.
For further information on legal business frameworks, we advise you to make enquiries with your local chamber of commerce.
If you are a private individual, your local tax office can guide you in setting up and declaring this situation.
In France, you must make this declaration to the relevant authorities within 15 days from the start of your business activity.
Micro enterprise status is available only to those whose business revenues do not exceed 26,678 euros per year ex-VAT (this includes all revenues whatever their source, not just commissions).
What if my Web site is not in France?
There is no problem if your Web site is hosted outside France.
We have affiliates in countries all round the world.
When does my affiliation take effect?
Your affiliation will take effect after we have looked at and passed your Web site.
If you do not receive a reply from us within 15 days, you can assume that your Web site has not been accepted.
There are a number of possible reasons for this. Consult this help page to find out the causes.
What type of remuneration is there and how much?
di-arezzo pays commission to its affiliates based on a percentage of sales.
When a visitor clicks one of your affiliate links and places an order on our Web site, a commission is credited to your affiliate account.
These commissions are split into three different levels:
- 1st level: 8% commission (Total sales from your site < €25,000)
- 2nd level: 10% commission (Total sales from your site > €24,999 and < €100,000)
- 3rd level: 12% commission (Total sales from your site > €99,999)
N.B., These percentages are reset to 8% for all affiliates at the start of each year.
When do I receive payment?
Our affiliation scheme lets you issue your invoices at the end of each month. Your payment will be made within the next 30 days.
Frequency of payments
You will be able to raise your invoices monthly.
Minimum amount for payment
The minimum invoicing amount is in the order of €80 ex-VAT
Commission will be paid within 30 days of receiving your invoice.
How do you know it’s my site who sent you the customer?
When you sign up for our affiliation scheme we provide you with an affiliate code.
All your links to di-arezzo must carry your affiliate code.
We retrieve this affiliate code and if the visit leads to an order being placed we credit the corresponding commission to your account.
What’s the expiry time of click-through visitors' cookies?
The di-arezzo affiliation cookie expires after 30 days.
When visitors click on one of your affiliate links and are taken to our Web site, a cookie is stored on their computer for 30 days.
This cookie contains your affiliate code. If the visitor places an order on the di-arezzo site before these 30 days expire, commission will be credited to your affiliate account.
N.B., visitors may refuse to accept having cookies stored on their computer or may delete cookies already stored on their computer at any time.
This is beyond di-arezzo’s control and we decline all responsibility for sales not credited to your account due to this.
How do I install links to your Web site from mine?
A set of tools is made available by di-arezzo making it easy for you to put our links on your Web site.
A simple copy/paste operation is all that’s needed.
How do I get to know the results of my affiliation?
When you are affiliated to di-arezzo you are given an affiliate account.
You can watch your commission grow day by day.
In addition, we place all the detailed invoices in your workspace. These let you see which type of product works best for you as regards conversion rate.
How can I achieve better performance?
Don’t just restrict yourself to an animated banner on your Web site.
Our best affiliates have developed some amazing techniques for showing up our products on their pages.
Try to incorporate our items (colour, font, etc.) into your Web site in a way that harmonises with your graphical scheme.
The closer your links with the world of music, the better chance you have of getting a lot of click-throughs.
How do I stop my affiliation?
This affiliation scheme is entered into non-exclusively with the affiliate for an indefinite period, knowing that either of the parties can terminate the agreement at any time without notice by advising the other party of this termination by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
I have forgotten my affiliate password. How can I get it back?
All you have to do is send us an e-mail via our contact form telling us the address of your Web site, your first and last names, etc.
I have moved since my affiliation. How do I change my account details?
E-mail us at this address affiliation@di-arezzo.com. State your new contact details and your original code.
