The first collection of Marc Berthoumieux, accordionist of genius, is finally available. All the titles of his new album are grouped in this quality songbook (including the song "Fleur bleue" performed by Claude Nougaro) with the title of his first album that made him known: Les couleurs d'ici.
You will find all the beautiful melodies of the album, in sheet music with international coding and guitar chord diagrams made "one by one" in collaboration with Patrick Moulou so that it sounds like on the disc.

Marc Berthoumieux, a native of Haute-Savoie, began his career by moving to Paris where he was noticed by jazz musicians of the French scene as Louis Winsberg or Jean-Marc Jafet who engage him in their group respective. In the middle of the song, as accompanist, he performs with artists from all horizons like Charles Aznavour, Harry Belafonte, Patrick Bruel, Maurane, Gilbert Bécaud, Serge Lama, Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo, Grégoire, Zaz, Julien Clerc and many others ... In jazz, we find him especially with Didier Lockwood, Youn Sun Nah and plays in the quartet of Dee Dee Bridgewater for a tour of more than two hundred concerts around the world for the album "I Have Two Loves".
His first album "Les Couleurs d'ici" (1998), nominated for the Django d'Or and his two albums "Jazz / No Jazz" Volume 1 - Volume 2 (2004) reveal him as a bearer of originality ordinary. In 2011, he released his album "In Other Words" recorded with Giovanni Mirabassi, Henri Texier and André Ceccarelli.
With "The Ball of the Worlds" collaborations continue with notably Majid Bekkas met in Morocco. Always surrounded by first-rate musicians, including those of the first hour, Marc Berthoumieux offers here a tribute to all the music of the world as well as artists he loves deeply and who have, in a certain way, shown him the road ... Through these multiple travels and encounters, he has forged his art, always with a strong identity and instantly recognizable.
