This collection contains original compositions written in styles borrowed from traditional Irish, Scottish and English music: gigues, reels, hornpipes (matelotes) and strathspeys. New Sounds from the British Isles also contains a second voice (inserted in the collection) for the flute, violin, accordion or any other melodic instrument. On the CD, you will find two versions of each piece: a full version and a voice accompaniment version 2 to allow you to tell your own story.
