Colorissaxo, Latin saxophone 'ballad' is a collection of original compositions presenting a wide range of rhythms from traditional and popular Latin American and Caribbean music. From the Altiplano (Huayno of Peru, Takirari of Bolivia) to the Pacific or Atlantic coasts (Cumbia of Colombia, Milonga of Argentina) or the Caribbean islands (Bolero of Cuba, Reggae of Jamaica), these musics with swaying rhythms present several pedagogical interests for both the student and the teacher.
First of all, this music of oral tradition invites the musicians (teacher and student) to appropriate it by memorizing through the listening of the CD (active listening, song of the melody ...).
The setting up can then be worked by playing, with or without partition, on the backing tape
