Séga Sidibé is one of the last guarantors of the Malian djembe tradition. He delivers here a large number of solo phrases, variations, bearings, heated and outputs on the rhythms: Suku, Denba foli and Dansa, considered by the ancients as founding rhythms. The authors propose a method of learning in 6 steps as well as many lines of work to create his own variations so that everyone develops a personal expression that frees him from simple recitation. This book contains solfeggio scores and simplified notation, preparatory exercises and two CDs, including: recordings of each sentence followed by accompanying measures for their implementation, versions of each rhythm and long ranges of training at slow, medium and fast tempo.
