Miguel Vega Cruz "Niño Miguel" (Huelva, 1952 - 2013) is one of the most singular artists in the history of flamenco guitar. His official discography limited to two LPs published in 1975 and 1976, recorded thanks to the sponsorship of Paco de Lucía, ("The Niño Miguel guitar" / "Diferente"), was enough to make him a legendary reference, both for professionals (Tomatito, Juan Carlos Romero, Rafael Riqueni ... have dedicated his compositions) only for simple "aficionados". A raw energy and sound, which ignore academicism, and an aesthetic that privileges immediate emotion, the first melodic throw and pure rhythm. His compositions are thus torrents of melodic and rhythmic ideas, at the limit of improvisation, while his interpretations defy written notation (articulation, agogic ...). The CD that accompanies these scores, and reproduces the original recordings, is here an essential support, to play this music in the mind of its creator. This collection offers you the complete transcriptions of seven compositions extracted from the two original LPs, whose iconic titles have become classics of the genre, "Vals Flamenco" (1975) and the Bulería "Desde el Condado" (1976). In "bonus", unpublished Alegrías on record, recorded live in 2007, from the Benoît Bodlet film "El Niño Miguel en concierto".
