Tommy tells the story of a blind, deaf and dumb boy who becomes a famous pinball champion, going through various experiences to find his senses. When this happens, it turns into a kind of spiritual guide for many followers who end up rejecting it. The Who plays Tommy in full on a world tour in 1969-70, punctuated by a famous stint at the Woodstock Festival.
