This book is intended for students of the second cycle of music training, 3rd and 4th years.
- Part 1: Work on works in 6 lessons
It's about traveling through different eras, different cultures and different styles of music. Each of these lessons includes reading and technique, but their main goal is to develop listening, harmonic hearing, transcribing and analysis. It is strongly advised to follow the suggested order of these lessons.
- Part 2: Ear work through musical dictations
Relying on the fact that musical dictation is not a goal in itself but that it allows to evaluate and transcribe what we hear and how we hear it, here is a series of exercises with this objective.
- Part 3: Listening and playing music
The reading becomes active, a real moment of musical listening from which one is imbued with a language specific to a musician, a style or an era.
- Part 4: Rhythmic work
Complete oral work around the technical reading, the hit, the mixture of both as well as by the sung.
- Part 5: Sung work
This work is above all a work of deciphering sung on various directories.
