Each chapter is divided into two parts: rhythmic and melodic. Theoretical notions are discussed throughout the book. Many exercises make it possible to put in place and to deepen the concepts approached. The reading of the notes is done in key of Sol and Fa simultaneously, but using the relative reading.

The authors put a particular emphasis on rhythmic work without becoming fixed in the measurements. Let us note particularly the great richness of the proposed texts.
All exercises are applied to Western and non-Western repertoire measures.
