This edition is addressed to singers but also to all musicians who love singing and want to easily have a wide range of music suitable for under-exercised voices (music training, for example). All the pieces were chosen not only for their musical qualities, but also for their educational effectiveness, thus favoring the good development of the young voices. The pieces of each collection are chosen for a given level, and are suitable for medium or high voices, who will sing with profit these parts not soliciting their acute, but never requiring a bass or a supported medium. We tried to scrupulously respect the original text of the selected pieces. And it is this text, faithful, that we have sometimes transposed, and for which Irène Assayag and Bruno Gousset, according to their respective competences, realized the low figures.
Thus we have transcribed the signs of measure, and the original ornaments, without adapting them to the use of the 19th century, leaving the musicians the freedom to interpret them with taste.
It is possible, of course, to work some parts vocalizing, if the language poses problems, or as preliminary work to install the legato.
