You know my passion for 17th century Italian baroque music ... I designed this project around 3 major operas, by reconstituting a kind of mini-opera, cantata with two voices and choir, around the characters of Orpheus and Eurydice. Each opera indeed develops a part of the story: Sartorio and Rossi evoke the happiness of young lovers, as well as the scene of the snake bite - Monteverdi focuses on the quest for Eurydice in the underworld, with as a highlight an air unique in the history of opera, the magic "Possente spirto", which I dare to sing here in countertenor voice, for the first time on record. I would like to thank Diego Fasolis and Emöke Baráth, who agreed to participate in this project that I have dreamed of for so many years.
