This book, as its name suggests (Dalaka means “open the door” in Mandingo language) is a real opening to the world through music.
The sounds, the gaiety and the depth of Africa are brought together in this book with warm colors which tells the daily life of Africans: school, griots, African art, forest animals, everyday life of children, food and the market…. The songs, in French or in their original language, are each time the opportunity to discover a highlight and an instrument typical of African culture.
