One day in 2005, Renaud Capuçon made a moving encounter, that of the violin of his life: the legendary Guarnerius del Gesu of 1737, called Viscount of Panette, which Isaac Stern played for almost fifty years.
Since then, this wonderful instrument has become one with him on stages around the world.
Initiated to music at the age of four and trained at the school of the greatest, from the Paris Conservatory to concerts with Carlo Maria Giulini, Claudio Abbado, Daniel Barenboïm or Martha Argerich, Renaud Capuçon gives us here the stages of a life dedicated to music.
A bright and transmission-oriented artist, but also a man of action, Renaud Capuçon has created several festivals, including the Easter festival in Aix-en-Provence.
